DETROIT — Aaron Judge singled and walked three times before being removed in the seventh inning Tuesday night, ending his record-setting streak of 37 games with at least one strikeout.

The New York Yankees led Detroit 11-1 when Judge was removed for a pinch-hitter. It was the slugger’s first game without a strikeout since July 7.

Judge walked in each of his first three plate appearances. He singled in the fifth, and New York sent Jacoby Ellsbury up to pinch-hit for him in the seventh.
