Blue Jays acquire pitcher Chris Leroux from Phillies

The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired Canadian reliever Chris Leroux from the Philadelphia Phillies.

Leroux’s last stint in the major leagues was in 2014 when he appeared in two games with the New York Yankees.

The right-hander has played in 65 games over the course of his major league career, posting a 6.03 ERA with a 1.702 WHIP.
