Blue Jays’ Lind out of lineup with foot injury

Designated hitter Adam Lind is out of the Toronto Blue Jays starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Orioles due to a deep bone bruise on his right foot.

Lind fouled a ball off his foot and limped off the field during the sixth inning of Saturday’s 3-2 loss to the Orioles. Dioner Navarro pinch-hit for Lind in the eighth.

The 30-year-old Lind was fitted for a walking boot but a second CT scan on Sunday came back negative.
