Blue Jays option Hutchison to Buffalo, recall Burns

Pitcher Drew Hutchison comments on his performance following the Toronto Blue Jays win over the Detroit Tigers.

A day after he threw six solid innings for the Toronto Blue Jays against the Detroit Tigers, Drew Hutchison has been optioned back to triple-A Buffalo.

Infielder Andy Burns was called up to fill his spot in the lineup.

Burns is on the bench Friday night for the second game of the Blue Jays’ series with Detroit.

Burns has six plate appearances this season for the Blue Jays. He was last called up from June 15 to 18.
