Blue Jays pitching prospect Nate Pearson promoted to triple-A Buffalo

Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Nate Pearson has been called up to the triple-A Buffalo Bisons and is expected to be in uniform on Sunday afternoon when the Bisons face the Durham Bulls.

In 16 starts with double-A New Hampshire, Pearson sported a 1-4 record with a 2.59 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 69 strikeouts & 21 walks in 62.2 innings of work.

The 22-year-old was selected in the first round (28th overall) by the Blue Jays in the 2017 MLB Draft.
