Blue Jays take in Falcons-Eagles during off-day in Atlanta

Julio Jones hauled in nine passes for 141 yards, including a pair of touchdowns, and the Atlanta Falcons came back after squandering a 17-point halftime lead to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 26-24.

After taking three of four games from the New York Yankees in a crucial weekend series in the Bronx, the AL East-leading Toronto Blue Jays got a much-deserved off-day to start the week.

What better way to spend it than by taking in the 2015 NFL season’s first edition of Monday Night Football? The Blue Jays spent the night at the Georgia Dome where they watched a battle of the birds as the Atlanta Falcons hosted the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Blue Jays are in Atlanta for a three-game interleague series against the Braves that kicks off Tuesday night.
