The Atlanta Braves are set to acquire right-hander Andrew Robinson from the Houston Astros, an industry source with knowledge of the deal told Sportsnet.
Robinson, a 26-year-old right-hander, has a 2.40 ERA in 41.1 innings of relief work for Houston’s top two affiliates this year.
The Astros initially selected Robinson in the 12th round of the 2010 draft. In 26 relief appearances split between double-A Corpus Christi and triple-A Oklahoma City, he has allowed 40 hits while walking 11 and striking out 39.
The details of the deal are not known at this time.
