Guerrero, Bichette promoted by Blue Jays to single-A Dunedin

Yahoo! MLB writer Jeff Passan tells Baseball Central that he’s not quite on the Blue Jays have to sell bandwagon, but if they decide to blow it up, then Josh Donaldson and Marcus Stroman absolutely need to go.

In a move that’s been expected for days, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette have officially been promoted by the Toronto Blue Jays to their single-A affiliate, the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Both players spent the first half of the season with the low-A Lansing Lugnuts. They appeared in the MLB Futures All-Star Game on Sunday.

Guerrero, 18, batted .316/.409/.480 with 21 doubles, seven homers and 40 walks in 71 games with Lansing.

Bichette, 19, sported a 384/.448/.623 slash line with 32 doubles, 10 homers and 28 walks in 70 games.
