Joe Biagini will start for the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to manager John Gibbons.

The move comes in the wake of Mat Latos being designated for assignment earlier Friday. In addition to the Latos move, the Blue Jays activated the recently-acquired Neil Ramirez and claimed righty Cesar Valdez from the Oakland Athletics.
