Boston Red Sox starting pitcher David Price got into a confrontation with Hall of Famer turned NESN analyst Dennis Eckersley on a team flight, according to The Boston Globe.

Neither person involved would comment on the verbal confrontation, which allegedly took place Thursday night as the team was on its way to Toronto.

Price had just pitched seven innings of three-run ball while striking out seven, lowering his ERA to 4.61.

The lefty has only made seven starts this season after missing time with an elbow injury suffered in February.

This wouldn’t be the first time this season the 31-year-old has gotten into a spat with a member of the media. He had a heated exchange with CSNNE’s Evan Drellich earlier in June over some tweets that Drellich had sent.
