2013 regular season record: 3-5
2013 regular season standings: 3rd AUS
2013 playoff record: 0-1
2013 playoff finish: Lost in AUS Semi-Final
The Mount Allison Mounties overcame a slow start in 2011 by finishing the season 3-3 and earning a trip to the conference playoffs for the third time in five years. With many new starters on both sides of the ball the Mounties finished strong before falling in the first round of the playoffs.
In 2013 the Mounties look to capitalize on a large group of returning starters to go with key additions on both sides of the ball. A trip to the playoffs in 2013 would be the program’s first back-to-back playoff seasons since 1998. With continuity within the roster and coaching staff the Mounties will be a team to watch in the AUS in 2013.
Quote from head coach: Kelly Jeffrey
“We are excited to have so many returning players who have started and have playoff experience. With the returning core of our team coming back to go along with some dynamic recruits we are focused to continue to get better.”
