RIMOUSKI, Que. — Denis Mikhnin and Samuel Laberge each had a hat trick as the Rimouski Oceanic cruised past the Moncton Wildcats 10-6 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Daniel Hardie scored once and added three assists while Tyler Boland, Hunter Moreau and Alexandre Grise supplied the rest of the offence for Rimouski (4-4-0). Charle-Edouard D’Astous and Dylan Montcalm tacked on three assists apiece.
Liam Murphy and Cameron Askew each struck twice for the Wildcats (4-4-0). Kelly Klima had a goal and two assists and Manuel Wiederer added the other.
Alexandre Lagace made 13 saves for the win. Keven Bouchard started for Moncton and took the loss after turning aside 23-of-30 shots in 33:18. Matthew Waite went the rest of the way and stopped 14 shots.
The Oceanic converted four times on seven power plays while the Wildcats were 1 for 3 with the man advantage.

BATHURST, N.B. — Christophe Boivin had a goal and two assists and Reilly Pickard stopped 26 shots as the Titan got past Gatineau.
Jordan Maher, on the power play, Nicolas Dumulong, Antoine Morand and Elijah Francis rounded out the attack for Acadie-Bathurst (4-3-2).
Zack MacEwen had a power-play goal and Vincent Milot-Ouellet also chipped in for the Olympiques (2-6-2). Tristan Berube turned aside 34-of-39 shots in net.

QUEBEC CITY — Matthew Boucher scored the only goal in the shootout and Callum Booth stopped 31 shots through regulation and overtime as the Remparts topped Baie-Comeau.
Andrew Coxhead sent the game to extra time with a goal at 18:58 of the third period. Louis-Filip Cote added a power-play goal for Quebec (5-4-0).
Matt Jones had both goals for the Drakkar (2-4-3), including one with the man advantage. Antoine Samuel kicked out 34-of-36 shots.

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Luke Green and Cedric Pare had a goal and an assist apiece as Saint John doubled up the Huskies.
Mathieu Joseph, shorthanded, and Samuel Leblanc also scored for the Sea Dogs (6-2-1). Alex Bishop made 18 saves.
Gabriel Fontaine responded in the third period with both goals for Rouyn-Noranda (6-1-1), including one on the power play. Samuel Harvey kicked out 17 shots.

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Samuel Girard had two goals and an assist to lead the Cataractes over Halifax.
Brandon Gignac scored once and added three assists for Shawinigan (7-1-0). Samuel Bucek, Alexis D’Aoust and Dennis Yan rounded out the attack while Mikhail Denisov stopped 19 shots.
Nico Hischier, Taylor Ford and Joel Bishop found the back of the net for the Mooseheads (5-4-0). Kevin Resop made 24 saves in net.
