André Deveaux to hold Friday press conference

Last we heard of former NHL enforcer André Deveaux a warrant had been issued for his arrest following a vicious slash prior to a second-tier Swedish league game.

Deveaux has surfaced in Toronto and has scheduled a media conference at the Sheraton Hotel for Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET, where he is expected to present evidence in his defence, according to a press release.

Professional hockey player André Deveaux will be speaking to media for the first time about recent events that occurred during the Swedish Hockey League playoffs.

Deveaux will be providing surprising new video evidence of injuries that were flagrantly ignored by Swedish hockey league officials.

Deveaux was released by Rogle BK shortly after the incident, which team chairman Hakan Eriksson called “indefensible.”
