Watch as Antti Raanta makes an unreal pad save to take a goal away from Cody Ceci.

New York Rangers goaltender Antti Raanta is wasting no time getting his newborn daughter ready for the rink.

The new dad ordered a pair of pint-sized goalie pads for his daughter, Evelyn, who was born on Feb. 2.

The 10-inch high pads were designed by Reo Roy of Brians’s Custom Sports, a Kingsville, Ont.-based company with an NHL clients list that includes Raanta, Eddie Lack, Scott Darling, Andrei Vasilevskiy and Craig Anderson, among others.

Here’s a photo of another pair of teeny-tiny baby goalie pads from the company:

No word on Evelyn’s save percentage just yet, but she’s clearly getting geared up for the big leagues.
