The St. Louis Blues and Pittsburgh Penguins made a minor league deal on Saturday, as the Blues sent forward Danny Kristo to the Penguins in exchange for defenceman Reid McNeill.

Kristo, 26, is playing in his fifth season in the AHL, scoring 142 points in 225 games and will report to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

McNeill is also on to his fifth season in the AHL, but is more of a stay-at-home defenceman. The 24-year-old has just 25 points in 190 career AHL games and will report to the Chicago Wolves.
