Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher has left Saturday’s game with an apparent lower-body injury, the team announced.
Gallagher fell awkwardly after a collision and subsequently left the ice.
Earlier in the game, he also appeared to take a puck off a hand. The 23-year-old missed an extended period of time this season when he fractured two fingers on his left hand.
It’s not immediately clear which instance caused him to leave the game.
