Injured Canadiens goaltender Carey Price returns to practice

Current Canadiens starter Charlie Lindgren and head coach Claude Julien react to Carey Price looking good in his first practice back with his Montreal teammates.

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price is back on the ice as he recovers from a lower-body injury.

Price hasn’t played since Nov. 2 and has a 3.77 goals-against average and .877 save rate in 11 starts this season.

The Canadiens have gone 4-3-1 in his absence, thanks in large part to the play of Charlie Lindgren, who’s filled the crease admirable in Price’s absence.

Montreal’s next game is against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday.
