Canadiens trade Marco Scandella to Blues for second-round pick

The Montreal Canadiens have traded defenceman Marco Scandella to the St. Louis Blues for a 2020 second-round pick and a conditional fourth-rounder in 2021, the team announced Tuesday.

The 29-year-old Scandella was acquired from the Buffalo Sabres on Jan. 2. A Montreal native, Scandella posted three points in 20 games for the Canadiens.
