The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Anton Rodin to a one-year contract worth $700,000.
Rodin endured an injury-filled first season in North America, playing in just three games for Vancouver, tallying one assist.
The 26-year-old was a second-round pick of the Canucks in 2009 and arrived to camp last year to much fanfare having been named the MVP of the Swedish Hockey League in 2016.
A knee injury delayed his NHL debut until Dec. 23, and he was shut down again after another knee surgery in February.
