Clarkson gets 10-minute misconduct, suffers injury

He may be in a different uniform, but it seems David Clarkson still hasn't changed his ornery ways after getting dinged with a 10 minute misconduct for his scrum etiquette on Tuesday.

When news broke of David Clarkson’s trade to the Columbus Blue Jackets last week, you could practically hear his sigh of relief; the knowledge that he was getting the fresh start his career so desperately needed.

Unfortunately, it didn’t last long.

In just his second game as a Blue Jacket against the Washington Capitals, Clarkson earned himself a 10-minute misconduct for his actions in the scrum, instigating multiple dust-ups after the referees broke things up.

In a bout of bad luck, Clarkson also suffered an upper-body injury which took him out for rest of the game.
