The Arizona Coyotes signed forward Dylan Strome to a three-year entry-level deal, the team announced Monday evening.
Strome was selected by the Coyotes with the third overall pick of the 2015 NHL Draft.
“We are very pleased to sign Dylan to an entry-level contract,” Coyotes GM Don Maloney said in a statement. “Dylan is a very talented player and all he’s done his entire career is lead his teams and leagues in scoring and win championships. He will be an important player for us in the future and a key building block for this franchise.”
The 18-year-old led the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in scoring this past season, registering 45 goals and 84 points in 68 games. He ranked first in the OHL in assists while recording 40 multi-point games.
