Devils trade Viktor Loov to Wild for Christoph Bertschy, Mario Lucia

The New Jersey Devils traded defenceman Viktor Loov to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forwards Christoph Bertschy and Mario Lucia Thursday.

Loov has 17 points in 36 games with AHL’s Binghamton Devils this season. A seventh-round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2012, Loov has played just four NHL games. Bertschy and Lucia have 17 and 15 points, respectively, with the Iowa Wild in 2017-18.
