Ducks sign forward Stefan Noesen to 1-year contract

Anaheim Ducks general manager Bob Murray talks about hiring Randy Carlyle and his focus on improving the team.

The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed forward Stefan Noesen to a one-year contract.

Noesen will earn $600,000 at the National Hockey League level, according to generalfanager.com.

Noesen has skated in two games with the Ducks over the past two seasons. The 23-year-old totalled 10 goals and 32 points in 65 games with the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League in 2015-16.

The Ducks acquired Noesen, along with Jakob Silfverberg, and Ottawa’s first-round pick (Nick Ritchie) in the 2014 NHL Draft, from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward Bobby Ryan in July of 2013.

The Senators originally selected Noesen 21st overall at the 2011 NHL Draft.
