The Calgary Flames have placed veteran winger Jaromir Jagr on injured reserve, retroactive to Dec. 31.

To take Jagr’s place on the roster, the Flames have recalled forward Ryan Lomberg from the AHL’s Stockton Heat.

Jagr, 45, has one goal and seven points in 22 games. He hasn’t played since Dec. 31 due to a lower-body injury.

Lomberg, 23, has four goals and 11 points with the Heat this season.
