Flames sign Tyler Wotherspoon to two-way deal

The Calgary Flames have signed defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon to a one-year, two-way contract.

Wotherspoon was drafted by the Flames in 2011 (57th overall), and has appeared in 30 NHL games since, registering five assists.

The 24-year-old had six goals and 18 points in 56 games with the AHL’s Stockton Heat last season.
