Flames sign winger Marek Hrivik to one-year, two-way deal

CALGARY — The Calgary Flames signed left-winger Marek Hrivik to a one-year, two-way contract on Saturday and traded goaltender Tom McCollum to the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

Hrivik split last season between the New York Rangers and their AHL affiliate in Hartford. He had two assists in 16 games with the Rangers.

McCollum, who has three games of NHL experience, spent last season playing at the AHL and ECHL level.
