Golden Knights activate Malcom Subban from IR, send Dylan Ferguson to WHL

The Vegas Golden Knights scored three goals in the third to break a 2-2 tie and beat the Canucks 5-2.

The Vegas Golden Knights activated goaltender Malcolm Subban off of injured reserve on Friday.

The team also sent emergency call-up Dylan Ferguson back to the WHL’s Kamloops Blazers.

Vegas has been beset by a large assortment of injuries to its netminders this season, with starter Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) and third-stringer Oscar Dansk (lower body) still out.

Subban was picked off of waivers from the Boston Bruins on Oct. 3, and has looked good between the pipes, winning twice with a 2.06 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage. He left his third start of the season against St. Louis on Oct. 21 with a lower-body injury.

The 23-year-old was drafted 24th overall in 2012.

The Golden Knights host the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday.
