James Reimer not at Maple Leafs practice following fall

Check this out, as Jonathan Bernier is accompanied by goalie coach Steve Briere as the "fill-in goalie" for James Remier, who's noticeably absent from Leafs practice.

Toronto Maple Leafs goalie James Reimer was not at practice Wednesday morning.

Taking his place alongside Jonathan Bernier was goalie coach Steve Briere.

Reimer had left practice early yesterday after taking an awkward fall.

Reimer has so far put together an excellent season, posting a .934 save percentage and a 2.07 goals-against average in 15 games, the fourth and seventh best marks in the NHL so far. He took over the no. 1 job after Bernier suffered an injury of his own.

The Leafs don’t play again until Saturday when they host the Washington Capitals.
