The Ottawa Senators finalized their 23-man opening-night roster and forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau was one notable player missing from the list.
Pageau, along with forwards Matt Puempel and Buddy Robinson, defenceman Fredik Claesson and goaltender Scott Greenham, were assigned to the Binghamton Senators in the American Hockey League.
If defencemen Alex Grant and Aaron Johnson, plus forward David Dziurzynski clear waivers Monday–they were placed on waivers Sunday–they will also be assigned to Binghamton.
