The Los Angeles Kings have acquired the rights to unsigned prospect Bokondji Imama from the Tampa Bay Lightning for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2018.

The Kings will only have to send the pick if they can sign Imama before Thursday’s 5 p.m. ET deadline, after which the 20-year-old will become a free agent.

Tampa Bay drafted Imama in the sixth round (180th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.

He had 41 goals and 55 points with the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs this past season.
