Award season is in full swing in the hockey world.
At the end of the Stanley Cup final, the winning team will get to hoist hockey’s most cherished trophy as NHL champions and one player from either the Boston Bruins or Chicago Blackhawks will be awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
Recently the NHL handed out its annual awards. Alex Ovechkin earned the Hart, P.K. Subban the Norris, Sergei Bobrovsky nabbed the Vezina et cetera et cetera.
That’s all well and good, but comedian Jimmy Fallon has handed out some hockey hardware of his own on his popular late-night talk show to some NHLers currently competing in the Stanley Cup final.
Fallon makes some interesting observations about a handful of Bruins and Blackhawks.
For example, if you invite Nathan Horton to your next Halloween party, you may be in for a surprise. And who knew Brad Marchand looked like a 1980s pizza delivery boy?
Confused?
