The battle for the fourth-line centre spot on the Toronto Maple Leafs appears to be over.
The Leafs waived Eric Fehr on Monday, in a move that presumably gives Dominic Moore a full-time job with the team.
Moore and Fehr had been rotating in and out of Toronto’s lineup, Moore having signed with the Leafs in July and Fehr having been acquired at last season’s trade deadline.
Fehr has no points in four games, while Moore has two goals in the same amount of contests.
