Matthew Lombardi has found a new home.
The veteran NHL forward has reached a one-year deal with Geneve-Servette in Switzerland, according to Hockey Central insider Chris Johnston.
Lombardi, 31, spent last season with Phoenix Coyotes and Anaheim Ducks, registering a total of four goals and four assists in 28 games.
He became an unrestricted free agent on July 5 after making a total of $3.5 million last season.
The Montreal native has played a total of 536 NHL games with the Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, Coyotes and Ducks.
