Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Martin Marincin will miss Tuesday’s game against the Nashville Predators due to an illness.

Marincin has a goal and five points in 19 games this season and another four points in eight games with the Toronto Marlies.

Kasperi Kapanen is expected to make his return to the lineup after missing the past four games with a concussion. Igor Ozhiganov will also return to the blue line to fill in for Marincin.
