The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled centre Sam Carrick from the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.
Carrick has no points in 10 games for the Maple Leafs this season while averaging 5:16 of ice time. In 40 games with the Marlies, Carrick has five goals and 20 points. He scored twice in Toronto’s 5-4 win over Binghamton on Monday.
The 23-year-old Markham, Ont., native was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL draft.
