Maple Leafs recall Kozun from conditioning stint

The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Brandon Kozun from the AHL’s Toronto Marlies on Saturday.

Kozun has been injured since Oct. 17 with a high-ankle sprain and was playing with the Marlies on a conditioning assignment.

The 24-year-old scored the game winner last night in Toronto’s 3-1 victory over the Hamilton Bulldogs.

In five games with the Maple Leafs (13-9-3), Kozun has registered one assist and has a plus/minus rating of minus-four.

Toronto host the Vancouver Canucks (18-7-1) tonight at the Air Canada Centre.
