Maple Leafs sign Nicholas Robertson to entry-level contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Nicholas Robertson to a three-year entry-level contract.

Robertson was selected by the Leafs in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft. In 54 games last season in the OHL with the Peterborough Petes, the 18-year-old had 27 goals and 55 points.

The Arcadia, Calif., native was sent back to Peterborough after spending time in training camp with the Leafs. No financial details for the contract were released.
