Newly acquired Senators netminder Mike Condon will make his debut for the team Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Senators acquired Condon from the Pittsburgh Penguins Wednesday in exchange for a 2017 fifth-round pick.

Condon started the season with the Montreal Canadiens but the team had to put him on waivers in early October, where he was claimed by the Penguins, who held the last priority spot. He came on in relief in one game for Pittsburgh, playing 20 minutes and saving all seven of the shots he faced in a 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators.

He played 55 games for the Canadiens last season in relief of injured Carey Price, and posted 21 wins with a .903 save percentage and 2.71 GAA.

The Canucks have been shutout in three of their past four games.
