The Montreal Canadiens host the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday night and, as the saying goes, good seats are still available.
As of late Tuesday morning, interested fans could purchase up to five tickets in the lower bowl behind the Canadiens net for two periods. Buying them wouldn’t be cheap, though.
The face value of each ticket is $238, plus service fees, bringing the grand total to $1,255 after fees and taxes. For point of comparison, a pair of tickets will cost up to $549. The least expensive pair runs $185.
The Canadiens are 1-2 this season. They won the Atlantic Division in 2016-17 after finishing 47-26-9, but lost in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to the New York Rangers.
