The Columbus Blue Jackets were easily one of the surprise teams of the 2016-17 season and one of the reasons for that was the stellar season from goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.

One of the highlights of his season was three consecutive shutouts, capped off by a 33-save effort against the New Jersey Devils.

As the video shows, giving Bobrovsky the Vezina Trophy probably wasn’t a difficult decision for the voters.
