Ottawa Senators sign Danny Taylor to a one-year contract

The Ottawa Senators have inked goaltender Danny Taylor to a one-year, two-way deal worth $850,000/$250,000.

The 31-year-old was originally drafted in the seventh round by the Los Angeles Kings in 2004 and has only played in three games in the NHL split between the Kings and the Calgary Flames.

Taylor has spent the last two seasons playing in the KHL. He is coming off a stellar season overseas where he recorded a .940 save percentage and 1.75 goals-against average.
