Panthers re-sign defenceman Mark Pysyk to three-year contract

The Florida Panthers have re-signed defenceman Mark Pysyk to a three-year contract.

“Mark is a young, intelligent defenceman who has become an important part of our future,” Panthers general manager Dale Tallon said in a press release. “He was one of our most consistent players last season and was a solid presence on our penalty kill. We look forward to Mark being a steadying force on our blue line for years to come.”

Pysyk, 25, had 17 points in 82 games with the Panthers this past season.
