Panthers sign defenceman Reece Scarlett to two-way contract

Defenceman Reece Scarlett has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Florida Panthers.

The 24-year-old Scarlett spent the 2016-17 season in the AHL, splitting time between the Springfield Thunderbirds and the Albany Devils.

Scarlett was originally selected by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round of the 2011 NHL Draft.
