Patrick Kane reaches 26 straight games with a point

Patrick Kane’s assist on Duncan Keith’s goal extended his point streak to 26 games, the longest since Mats Sundin’s 30-game streak with the Nordiques in 1992-93.

Patrick Kane has extended his point streak to 26 games with an assist in Sunday’s game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Kane got a secondary assist on Duncan Keith‘s power-play goal 11:51 into the first period.

The Chicago Blackhawks forward now has the longest such streak since Mats Sundin went 30 straight games with at least one point in the 1992-93 season.

Kane already has the longest streak ever by an American, and a Blackhawk, and is getting ever closer to the top 10 point streaks in NHL history.
