Penguins re-sign forward Kevin Porter to one-year contract

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed forward Kevin Porter to a one-year, two-way contract.

The deal will earn the 30-year-old $575,000 at the NHL level, just as he did last season when he signed with Pittsburgh as an unrestricted free agent.

Porter played in 41 games with Pittsburgh in 2015-16, and had three assists.

He has 29 goals and 29 assists in 247 career NHL games.
