Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau is inching close to a return and skated with the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports and the Journal de Montréal.
Parenteau left Friday’s 4-2 win over the New Jersey Devils after suffering an injury in the second period. New Jersey’s Tim Sestito hit the Canadiens forward as he was carrying the puck through the middle of the ice.
In 37 games this season, the 31-year-old has six goals and 15 points.
