The Philadelphia Flyers have invited veteran defenceman Hal Gill to camp on a tryout, according to Fluto Shinzawa, an NHL reporter for the Boston Globe.
Gill spent the past season and a half with the Nashville Predators where he had no points in 32 games and was a minus-3 rating.
The 38-year-old has also played for the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens.
In 1,102 NHL games, Gill has 36 goals and 148 assists.
