The New York Islanders acquired Shane Prince from the Ottawa Senators Monday, according to Arthur Staple of Newsday.

The Senators received a 2016 third-round pick in the trade. New York also received a 2016 seventh-round pick.

In 44 career games, the 23-year-old forward has three goals and 13 points.
