The Ottawa Senators have a bone to pick with Radko Gudas.
Early in the third period of Tuesday’s game with the Philadelphia Flyers, Senators forward Mika Zibanejad received the puck off the face-off and was immediately drilled in the head with a straight forearm from Gudas.
The Flyers defenceman did not receive a penalty on the play, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Gudas heard from the NHL’s Department of Player Safety over the next day or two.
Senators coach Dave Cameron told reporters after the game that he thought Gudas should have recived a five-minute major for the high hit on Zibanejad, who left the game and did not return for precautionary reasons.
