Subban sidelined in training camp with upper-body injury

Now a Predator, P. K. Subban looks back on his time in Montreal.

Nashville Predators defenceman P.K. Subban is dealing with an upper-body injury, the team announced Friday.

According to the report on the Predators’ website, Subban will not participate in on-ice practices with the club for the next few days and will be re-evaluated early next week, after the team returns from its preseason game against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.

Defenceman Ryan Ellis is also out with an upper-body injury.

“I’ve just been a little bit sore lately, so we’re just going to take our time and make sure,” Subban told Adam Vingan of The Tennessean. “I came in a couple days to skate early. Just a little bit sore, so we’re going to see how I feel.”

Friday was Day Two of the Predators’ training camp, and the first day on the ice.
